Web Developer / Graphic Designer
We are looking for an exceptionally talented and creative individual who
has a commanding grasp of web and graphic design, advertising and marketing.
This individual will be able to effectively design site layouts by
clarifying goals for prospective websites and designing functionality with
those goals in mind. This position will be responsible for bringing a
variety of new products to the internet market through effective web
advertising and marketing, with an emphasis on the creation of persuasive
content and website layouts.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5+ years experience in Web/Graphic Design, Advertising and
Marketing
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Advertising, Marketing, Business or
another relevant field.
- Proficiency with FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator
(with Flash experience as a plus)
- Working knowledge of HTML/DHTML, ASP, PHP and Java
- Ability to produce highly persuasive content in a timely manner,
under little direct supervision.
- Conceptual and technical knowledge of design principles (formatting,
typography, color, layout, etc.)
- Excellent communications kills are absolutely essential; basic
comprehension of other languages is a plus (Chinese and/or Spanish
especially)
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2003 or programming langues such as
ColdFusion, .Net, XML/XSL, VB and others can only help your chances -
but are not required.
Other Duties:
- Updates and maintains content and links for our family of websites
- Monitors site performance and statistics, identifying and evaluating
improvement options
- Establishes palatability by registering with search engines;
performs SEO optimizations as necessary
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
participating in professional organizations; staying informed on new
technologies and programming languages
- Provides pertinent site information to CEO via collecting, analyzing
and summarizing data and trends
- Maintains high design/production quality by reviewing other
designers' work; ensuring that site content is consistent.
The Web Developer / Graphic Designer position in this rapidly growing
