LTL Processor
Seeking a LTL Processing Specialist for a Medford-based
company. Work schedule will be Monday though Friday 5am to 4pm.
Pay will depend on experience.
Job duties include:

Apply Industry terms and concepts.
Usage of common carrier tariffs, accessorial charges, FAK and
freight classes as defined by the NMFC.

Use appropriate company tools to research and verify classification of
LTL shipments.

Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external
customers by applying positive interpersonal communication techniques.
Investigates and resolve customer inquires concerning billing or
credit memos.

Use computer to enter, access and retrieve customer data.

Use basic business math skills to compute record and verify financial
transactions and maintain records.

Examine pertinent information to determine accuracy of customers’
account and reconcile any discrepancies in records and accounts.

Notify customers and appropriate personnel of findings, adjustments and
recommendations, such as credit to customers’ accounts or adjustment to
customers’ bills.

Compile data, compute fees and charges and review paperwork to ensure
completeness. Sort record, proof
and prepare items for payment and invoicing purposes.

Perform various clerical duties in accordance with the establishment
office procedures. This may
include filing and the operation of general machines (e.g. fax, copy and
adding).

Organize process and prepare relevant records for imaging and archiving.

Motivate and support co-workers, integrate and promote the Company
Values into daily actions and interactions.
Requirements:
- Highly developed organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are
essential, as is the ability to function within a group dynamic.
- PC literacy is necessary with a proficiency in
Microsoft Office.
- Ability to balance multiple duties at once and
posses a high attention to detail.
- Must be a team player and have LTL experience.
