Carrier Services

Looking for a Carrier Services to work for a large Medford-based company. Work hours would be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay range is from $8.00/hour.

Duties include many of the following:
* Collect information from carriers and update Visual Freight Trak (VFT) database accurately.
* Assist the freight department in locating trucks for priority freight.
* Promote the company's transport solutions to new carriers obtained from outside sources.
* Develop proficiency in VFT software tools; in utilizing the company's website; and in educating the carriers in using the tools available to them.
* Develop an understanding of the company's imaging system and demonstrate the carrier aspects to clients.
* Complete various forms regarding carrier profiling activities as required.
* Lead by example, motivate and support co-workers, integrate and promote the company's values into daily actions and interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements Needed:
* Highly developed organizational skills.
* Ability to create and maintain database information based on telephone interviews.
* Requires flexibility and attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication skills are essential
* Ability to function within a group dynamic and be a "team player" with a strong commitment to customer service
